Welcome to Laura Orzehoski

Laura Orzehoski is a Philadelphia-based trombonist who currently is enrolled in Jazz Studies at Temple University.

 

Laura has performed at multiple venues across the East Coast and is a member of the all-female big band, The Grace Fox Big Band and a member of the Grammy Nominated Big Band The Temple University Jazz Band under the direction of Terell Stafford. Laura is the former lead trombonist of the New York Youth Symphony Big Band.

Although still a full-time student, Laura is currently featured on the Grace Fox Big Band's debut album “Eleven O’ Seven” and as a trombonist in the TUJB, she has had the pleasure to play at Jazz at the Lincoln Center's Rose Hall, Dizzy’s Jazz Club, and Philadelphia's own Kimmel center. Laura also performs in multiple ensembles at Temple University and is her own band leader of The Laura Orzehoski Sextet.
